MEET Matt
Matthew Loren Voecks has been consulting on qualified retirement plans since 2004, helping plan sponsors navigate plan design, fiduciary responsibilities, and investment oversight through a customized and practical approach. As a Retirement Plan Advisor, he works closely with clients to support their goals, strengthen retirement plans, and align participant communication efforts with broader organizational priorities.
Matt’s focus is on helping plan sponsors make thoughtful decisions that support better outcomes for their employees. Over the years, he has had opportunities to speak on retirement industry best practices and contribute to industry discussions through interviews with retirement trade publications. He has also been proud to work with clients whose retirement plans and financial wellness programs have received industry recognition.
He holds the CERTIFIED PLAN FIDUCIARY ADVISOR (CPFA®), ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY (AIF®), and RETIREMENT PLANS ASSOCIATE (RPA) designations, along with FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations. Matt earned his B.S. from Minnesota State Moorhead in 2003 and is a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors.
Matt is a father of three, which means life is busy, loud, and usually entertaining. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with his wife, tackling home improvement projects, fixing toys, and covering up the latest crayon masterpiece on the wall. He also enjoys golfing and skiing and is having fun introducing his kids to both. And while he may be the first to joke about it, Matt also takes real pride in lawn care and making sure his yard is the greenest on the block.
His personal motto is: “Always leave a campsite better than you found it.”
