After spending over a dozen years representing a large, multi-national insurance company’s retirement plan services division, Dan realized that micro and small-plan employers and their employees were underserved in this space. From that point on, Dan’s goal was to provide these crucial services to the micro and small-plan marketplace, establishing his own retirement consulting practice to do just that. Having worked with over 1,000 qualified retirement plan clients and their employees, Dan is known for delivering quality expertise, clear communication, and reliability. He uses his knowledge and experience to implement best fiduciary practices to ensure employees have appropriate investments to choose from and employers have a well-documented fiduciary process in place to mitigate risk. Dan prioritizes his clients’ needs, taking the time to understand their unique goals and situations and applying his holistic approach to customize and develop tailored strategies to improve outcomes and take some of the plan sponsor burden off their shoulders. Dan and his beautiful, ever-so-patient wife, Rita, both native Miamians, consider their proudest achievement to be raising their two children, Ashley and Joshua, to become fine, productive, and principled adults. Now empty nesters, they enjoy sharing in their children’s accomplishments, spending time with them and their wonderful grandchildren, as well as their extended families, traveling to see them as often as possible and cherishing their frequent FaceTime calls. Once an accomplished martial artist, Dan applies the same discipline and focus when it comes to serving his clients. When he’s not working, you can find Dan at the park and marina near his house training his Australian Shepherd (and often helping others train their dogs too).
